Hard water wastes money

Why should you worry about hard water?

Imagine someone put 35 bricks in to your household pipes that rattled round your house, in and out of your central heating system, boiler, washing machine and dishwasher day and night. You would be worried about the damage they were causing wouldn't you.

The average household in a hard water area produces the equivalent of 35 bricks in limescale every year - around 70kg. This year's worth of limescale reduces the energy efficiency of your house by 15%, shortens the life of your boiler, appliances, clothes and increases your shopping bills by around £400.
